Results of a Police investigation into allegations of child abuse at the Paget day nursery have been in the Attorney General's chambers for several days.

Probes by the Police and the Ministry of Health and Social Services began about eight months ago. Health and Social Services Minister the Hon. Quinton Edness has said some children who attended the nursery were traumatised. But how that trauma was caused had not been determined, he said.

The family that ran Nambour has decided to sell the day nursery. They maintain the allegations are without foundation. Numerous parents have come to their support.
