Steven Gregory Mills, who lives in Salvation Army accommodation, had been causing a nuisance to merchants and customers in the arcade, the court heard.

The owners had sent him a letter forbidding him to trespass on the property.

But on Monday Police were called to remove him from the Arcade Restaurant.

Mills admitted entering the arcade without permission, but told the court: "Somebody told me to go the post office and pick up a letter but I've been too busy looking for a job.

"I only went in the arcade to get something to eat. I don't know what they have against me. It's probably my colour or my race.'' Giving him a conditional discharge, senior magistrate the Wor. Will Francis told him: "You strike me as what we Bermudians call a bull-headed fellow.

"I'm warning you to stay away from the Walker Arcade.''
