At the Fairmont Southampton, brides have to plan well in advance to take advantage of their comprehensive packages, as the hotel is already booked straight through until October, breaking a record on July 7 with five destination weddings in house.

Packages begin at about $3500, although prices are yet to be confirmed for 2008.

The staff at Elbow Beach Hotel have put together some luxurious packages in order to ensure you get the most out of their facilities, however, if you can’t find what you like, they can tailor a package to suit your needs.

Their three packages range in price from $2,000 to $4,000. A sample package contains a non-denominational minister, commemorative wedding certificate, musical performance, floral bouquet and boutonni|0xe8|re, colour photos in a commemorative album, two-tiered wedding cake, reception, wedding planner and either a one-hour open bar or a bottle of chilled champagne with crystal flutes.

They are also more than happy to help you make arrangements for any other incidental necessities, from tent and chair rental, to tuxedos and flowers.

Each package is held at a different, unique location on the hotel grounds. With the “Eternity” package, your ceremony is held on the Ocean Terrace, with its breathtaking views of the turquoise majesty of South Shore. A “Bermuda Memoir” ceremony is held in the intimately lush garden setting of the Alamanda Garden, while an “Everlasting Love” ceremony is held under the Elbow Beach Moongate with spectacular views of the ocean.

Elbow Beach can accommodate weddings for up to 200 people.
