BSX jumps 97.76 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 97.76 points yesterday to close at 4,442.On a moderate day of trading Butterfield Bank gained $1.30 to close at $57 as investors traded in 33, 923 shares.BF&M also rose $1.50 to close at $18.50 on volume of 5,300 shares and Argus Group Holdings rose 50 cents to close at $14 as 1000 shares changed hands.

While no other issues changed price, LOM traded in 10,000 shares to remain unchanged at $3.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX on Thursday was $2,041,530.25 and the overall volume of shares was 50,223.
