BSX falls 49.22 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 49.22 points yesterday to close at 4,417.50.On a moderate day of trading Bermuda Container Line rose 45 cents to close at $14.95 as investors traded in 1,300 shares and Argus gained 25 cents to close at $14.75 as 1,000 shares changed hands. Butterfield Bank fell $1 to close at $56 on volume of 3,117 shares and Belco declined $1.15 to close at $38.75 on volume of $3,738 shares.
