The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 11.42 points yesterday to close at 4,369.78.

On a relatively moderate day of trading Belco led the advances as it gained 90 cents to close at $39.90 as 1,200 shares changed hands.

Bermuda Aviation Services also gained 25 cents to close at $6.25 on volume of 1,800 shares.

Argus was the only issue to lose ground, falling 70 cents to close at $14.05 as investors traded in 1,200 shares.

While no other shares changed price, Butterfield Bank traded 1,520 shares to remain unchanged at $55.50 and 100 BF&M shares changed hands to close unchanged at $17.25.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $161,885.00 and the overall volume of shares was 5,820 shares.
