LOM's share price plunges
The value of LOM (Holdings) Ltd. shares dropped by more than 40 percent yesterday, driving the Bermuda Stock Exchange Index down 25.20 points.
LOM, which has been engaged in a lengthy legal dispute with US regulator the Securities and Exchange Commission, saw its shares fall $2.10 or 46.7 percent to $2.40 on volume of 21,600 shares.
That drove The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index down 25.20 points yesterday to close at 4,363.01.
While no other issues changed price, Butterfield Bank investors traded in 15,385 shares to close unchanged at $55.50 and Bermuda Aviation Services was unchanged at $6.25 on volume of 69,200 shares.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $1,339,912.50 and the overall volume of shares was 106,185.
