Argus jumps on BSX

Argus shares soared $2.25 or 18.75 percent to drive the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index up 31.12 points yesterday to close at 4,426.98.
On day of light trading, the insurer was the only issue to advance as it closed at $14.25 as investors traded in 1,300 shares.
Rival insurer BF&M fell $1.35 to close at $17.25 on volume of 5,900 shares and Butterfield Bank fell 50 cents to close at $57 as 249 shares changed hands.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $135,198 and the overall volume of shares was 7,449 shares.
