The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index rose 38.66 points, or 1.57 percent, yesterday to close at 2,502.04.

The Bank of Bermuda climbed $1.25 to $36.75 on light volume of 100 shares. KeyTech Ltd. was unchanged at $10 as 3,018 shares traded hands.
