That is the lesson Antonio Cabral learned when he was stopped on his motorcycle on St. John's Road, Pembroke, on April 7.

Cabral, 18, of White Hill, Sandys Parish, was spotted by Police officers on a Yamaha motorcycle which was displaying the licence plate of an auxiliary cycle. Prosecutor Sgt. Kenrick James said the engine on the bike was 80cc.

Sgt. James said: "When questioned he gave a false name. When further questioned Police found he could not spell the name he had given. He later gave his real name.'' Police found the self-employed painter was alreay disqualified from driving until November 18, 1995, had no third party insurance.

VISITOR FINED CTS Visitor fined An American visitor was fined $350 after he was caught with cannabis at the airport.

Eric Barney Hoffman, 31, of Massachusetts, was charged with possession of drugs and drug papers.

The 2.22 grams of canabis were found in his suitcase and the papers were hidden in underwear.
