FOR THE RECORD

A story in yesterday's newspaper on the drug methamphetamine incorrectly said it goes by the street name Special K. That street name is actually used for a different drug, ketamine. The story also incorrectly stated that Canadian national Patrick Howe was convicted last year for the importation of methamphetamine. Although Howe was originally charged with importing both methamphetamine and ketamine, he was only tried for the importation of ketamine and was subseuqently convicted.

An article in Saturday's Royal Gazette mistakenly referred to the victim in a drinking and driving case as Mark Cannon. His name is Mark Canning. The Royal Gazette apologises for the error.
