Frank Arnold is the new owner of Queen Street Liquors Limited following a decision by Eddie DeMello and Giuseppe Rocher to sell the business they have been operating for twelve years.

Located at the corner of Queen Street and Church Street in Hamilton, the store has been renamed Arnold's Express and represents an expansion of the Arnold's Group of businesses.

"I am very sad about about the closure because it has been a very good business for us. My partner ? Giuseppe ? decided he wanted to retire and I couldn't find anyone else to run the business," Mr. DeMello said.

"Both I and Giuseppe had been operating the business from eight in the morning until nine in the evening, six days a week, and as time went on we were getting burned out so we decided the best thing would be to sell the business.'

"I wish Frank all the best for the future. I am sure with the aggressive style of the Arnold's Group, Arnold's Express will do very well."

Mr. Arnold said the Arnold's Group is in growth mode and the new store provides an opportunity to offer a new product range to customers. To realise these plans some minor renovations will be made to the store.

"We wanted a good corner location providing more grocery items and this is an exciting opportunity," Mr. Arnold said.
