which could transform her life.

Taqueena Trott, 11, and mother Karen are living near a top Boston children's hospital where Taqueena is on the emergency list for a kidney transplant.

And she has to be in constant touch with doctors in case a suitable transplant organ becomes available.

The Royal Gazette revealed in July that Taqueena, who has already fought a battle for health against crippling spina bifida, needed a kidney transplant.

Fellow pupils at the Francis Patton School raised $500 to help towards Taqueena's medical expenses and the school matched that.

The Francis Patton PTA also chipped in with a further $1,000 and pledged a further $1,000 to help pay Taqueena's tuition fees while she is away from school.

It is understood Taqueena and her mother may be in Boston for up to three months.

Earlier this year, Mrs. Trott, of Hamilton Parish, said: "Taqueena takes everything in her stride and never complains.'' MAN ADMITS THREATENING WOMAN CTS Man admits threatening woman A social inquiry and psychiatric report was yesterday ordered on a 40-year-old Pembroke man who terrorised a pregnant woman.

Anthony E. Rego, of the Canadian Hotel on Reid Street, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to using threatening words on November 1 at the Fortune Corner Betting Store on Church Street and trespassing after receiving a letter forbidding him to go on the property.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said Lisa Fisher was working at the betting store that day when Rego entered the establishment and claimed that he won $1 million.

When Fisher refused his request, Rego got upset and started threatening her, Sgt. Grant said. Fisher, who was six months pregnant, had to take the rest of the day off.

Sgt. Grant said a letter was sent to Rego telling him to stay off the property. But on the morning of December 6, Rego returned.

Before a security guard could stop Rego, he left the establishment.

Sgt. Grant said Rego has a history of psychological problems as well as a record dating back to 1981.

In October, 1994 he was fined $300 for trespassing.

Duty counsel Mr. Peter Farge said Rego was a patient at St. Brendan's Hospital and "has taken some serious drugs''.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis adjourned the case until January 29 when the reports were scheduled to be completed.
