into two women who assaulted another woman at Hamilton Police Station.

Marlene Knight and six-months-pregnant Nikki Riley pleaded guilty to assaulting Lisa Dionne Trott and using offensive words in the Police station on February 21.

Knight also admitted assaulting Trott earlier that day in a car park on Court Street.

Prosecuting, Sgt. Kenrick James said that Trott, of Bailey's Bay, was attacked by a woman she did not know in the car park across from the Spinning Wheel club.

Trott also complained that during the attack her car, in which she was sitting, had been damaged by the woman, later identified as Knight.

She reported the offence at the Police station, but while she was there five women entered, including the two accused.

Sgt. James said: "Knight assaulted her in the presence of the Police and called her a f****** bitch. An officer went to Trott's aid.'' Other insults were thrown and Riley also attacked Trott, accusing the Police of arresting them because they were black.

Knight and Riley told Police that Trott had called Riley a "black bitch'' outside the club. Twenty-year-old Riley, of Middle Road, Southampton, who was four months pregnant at the time, also accused Trott of punching her in the mouth. She said that was her explanation for kicking her at the Police station.

Knight, 23, of Wreck View Hill, Devonshire, denied damaging the car. Because of their ages Mr. Francis asked for a social inquiry report.
