Local entertainers will be honoured by the Progressive Labour Party this weekend.

The entertainers will be thanked for their lifetime contribution to music in Bermuda. The night will see many local acts perform as well as the international group The Stylistics. The PLP will honour Gene Steede, Freeman (King) Trott and George Smith. Other musicians including Robert Edwards and Friends and Wanda Raynor will also be featured at the show.

The highlight of the event is the performance of the Stylistics, who have been famous since the 1960s, some of their better known songs are You're my Everything and I'm Stone in Love with You.

The event will be held at the Fairmont Southampton Princess and begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased at 27th Century Boutique, Warwick Esso Tigermart, Cassi's Boutique in Sandys and at the PLP Headquarters.
