Frederick Anthony Swann was this evening found guilty for his role in the brutal beating of Damon Robinson.
His co-accused, Carlena Caines, was found innocent in Supreme Court.
A three-man, nine-woman jury was told Swann and Jermaine Simmons beat Mr. Robinson unconscious on August 15, 2009. They were also told that the pair left Mr. Robinson in the middle of Reid Street with a broken jaw in two places, a collapsed left lung and bleeding and swelling to his brain.
Ms Caines was said to have driven Swann and Simmons, her alleged boyfriend, away from the scene. The prosecution had also argued that she issued the US Airways ticket that enabled Simmons to flee the Island.
