Insp. Norrell Hull, who heads the Narcotics Department -- and will continue to -- was promoted to chief inspector.

From sergeant to inspector were Archibald Husbands, Raymond Bell and David Purcell.

And promoted to sergeant were constables Clarke Minors, Christopher Graham-Ward, Bernard Pitman and Beverly Hopkins.
