Sea Venture (Overseas) Shipping Ltd., one of Bermuda's oldest shipping companies, has taken a bold step forward with the launch of a new website www.svosltd.com .

The main feature of the website is a proprietary freight tracking system. Customers can log on to the system, dubbed "WMS Sea Track" and view real time reports on the status of their freight in any of the Sea Venture warehouses.

Benita Powell of Sea Venture says: "Not only can our customers track their freight 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they can also run reports that show their complete shipping history. It is the ultimate customer service tool." The company, whose freight options range from LTL to container loads, has been involved in shipping in Bermuda for over 25 years. They hope that the new web-site will be a great help to customers. "We want to make shipping to Bermuda simple," says Ms Powell.
