Desai Jones pleaded guilty to receiving the bracelet, valued at $1,782 knowing it was stolen.

But he denied actually stealing the bracelet from Crisson's jewellry store on Queen street in Hamilton.

Insp. Peter Duffy told the Court that on July 12 Police found Jones at the bus terminal wearing the bracelet which he said he purchased for $220 from a man in Middletown.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis bailed Jones in the sum of $400 until the reading of the report, set for October 1.
