A rise in the price of Bank of Bermuda stocks pushed up the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index by 25.6 points on a day when just two stocks changed hands.

Bank of Bermuda gained 90 cents to finish at $48.75. The only other stock to trade was Bermuda Computer Services which closed unchanged at $3.00.

The index closed up 1.02 percent at 2,544.21 on a volume of 5,793 worth $274,639.
