Bermuda's own Collie Buddz, Heather Nova featured on new CD
Bermudian recording artists including Collie Buddz and Heather Nova are being featured on a CD aimed at raising funds for charity.
Ride the Wave VI was realised at an album release party on Saturday at Gorhams and proceeds will go to the Coalition for the Protection of Children.
Artists featured on the album Mishka, Gita, Magma, Troy Anthony, Homegrown, The Kennel Boys, Hindsight, Sweet Sess, Mikey Wild, Tony B and The Rainbow Valley Kids, Junior Steven and Squinty, Prestege, Uzimon, Batwa Hi-Fi, Secret Po-Po, Hindsight, Victims of Existence, Last Rights and Michael Cacy.
The project was the brainchild of Michael Freisenbruch, President of Freisenbruch Meyer Group and Tony Brannon, President of Brannon Enterprises.
Mr. Freisenbruch said: "Very early on, Tony and I discussed the creative concept of blending a music project with the outreach of traditional business and the idea was born.
"Freisenbruch Meyer Group is delighted to present this collection of 20 tracks to raise funds for the Coalition for the Protection of Children and to promote Bermuda's musical talent."
The album is $20 and is available to buy at Brown & Co, Gorhams, All Wrapped Up, Paradise Gift Shop, Gibbons Company, Somerset Pharmacy, Music Box, Sound Stage and Music World.
