A Pembroke man was charged in Magistrates’ Court this afternoon with the murder of Denise Evans-Wilkinson.David Wayne DeSilva, 46, was charged with murdering Ms Evan’s Wilkinson between a date unknown and April 29, 2011.He appeared before the court in custody.Mr DeSilva was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard before Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr DeSilva back into custody until September 22, when the matter is scheduled to return to Magistrates’ Court.Mr DeSilva was represented by defence attorney Mark Pettingill; Susan Mulligan acted as Crown counsel.
