The new tanker truck arrived on the Island earlier this month and has just been commissioned ready to transport fuel around Shell's 14 gas stations.
Richard Davidge, owner of Eurocar, said it will be the largest fuel truck of its kind in Bermuda, able to carry 3,000 gallons of fuel.
Shell Bermuda's Oil Products Manager, David Rose, said: "These trucks are absolutely state of the art and they have 50 percent more capacity than our present fleet, which means that we'll be able to have fewer vehicles on the road."
