Breaking News: Teenager and 20-year-old man shot

A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been shot in the Friswell’s Hill area of Pembroke.Both victims have been taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, although their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.A Police spokesman said officers responded to gunshots in the area around 10.48 p.m. last night. They found two injured males, a 16-year-old and a 20-year-old. The area was cordoned off by Police.

The double shooting comes less than 48 hours after Frederick Maybury was shot dead outside Woody’s Sports Bar in Sandys on Monday. Mr. Maybury was the Island’s sixth gun death this year.
