OSLO (Bloomberg) ? Frontline Ltd. chief financial officer Tom Jebsen is leaving to become chief financial officer of Songa Offshore ASA, an Oslo-based oil-rig operator.

Jebsen, 48, was with Frontline for nine years, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said in a statement on Friday. Songa, which was set up last year, announced Jebsen's appointment in a statement.

Frontline will seek a replacement "as soon as possible", Frontline said.

Jebsen was also chief financial officer of Ship Finance International Ltd., and Golden Ocean Group, which Frontline, the world's second-largest oil-tanker company, spun off in 2004.
