Dear Sir,

Where is the Government's focus?

I address this to any member of government who can answer this concern.

I read in today's paper that immigration officials are threatening to arrest a Man of God for offering to spread the Holy Word. I remember not too long ago a doctor bearing the brunt of the immigration laws.

This confuses me as I know personally of a few guest workers in Bermuda that have had their contracts expire and as yet haven't been renewed, yet they are still working freely.

Some of these have had signed letters submitted to the Immigration department with eyewitness accounts of work being performed outside of their contracts, yet they still work freely here while the Immigration Department sits on their hands.

These are waiters, jewellers, sales people, etc. If the Immigration Department doesn't have the resources to deal with them all, surely a Pastor is of greater value to the country than waiters, jewellers or salespeople with the country trying get a grip of the social problems that plague us these days.

Someone help me see the big picture I'm missing.
