Nick Kyme will be seeking to avenge his National Squash Championship defeat to club pro Patrick Foster last month when he takes on his friend and rival again in a highly-anticipated rematch tonight.

The world number 69 looked a shadow of his former self during his unexpected four-game defeat in the final, and said in the immediate aftermath that he would have to intensify his training regime in order to get back on track.

Whether his actions match his words will become clear in the exhibition match at 8.30 this evening when he will play the Englishman in front of an anticipated packed house at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association in Devonshire.

Foster himself was formerly ranked within the world?s top 70 and though coaching juniors now takes up the majority of his time, he has been finding the odd hour since the New Year to spend more time reviving his own game and looked impressively fit and strong during his National Championship triumph.

Tickets for the evening are still available and can be purchased at the BSRA or by calling 292-6881.

SOCCER

Bermuda Football Association will be holding their fifth annual Girls Easter Football Camp from April 4-7 at the BAA Field.

The camp will run each day from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

In addition to teaching the basics of the sport, the camp will also be used to introduce all participants to various essential life skills and other sports and those attending will be taken on field trips around the Island.

At the conclusion of the camp all players will receive a BFA football, a camp T-shirt and a camp water bottle.

?We are hoping to attract around 100-120 young girls to introduce them to a positive and competitive environment,? said BFA administrator Vance Brown.

?This year we will change the teaching curriculum to progressive learning which will encourage the players to compete whilst still learning the basic techniques of the game.?

Registration forms can be picked up at the BFA offices on Cedar Avenue or via email at bfanorthrock.bm or by fax.

The deadline for registration is March 29 while cost for the camp is $120 for the week which will include unlimited access to beverages and snacks.

All participants will be asked to bring their own lunches.
