Concert organiser Mr. Eddie DeMello said he had hoped to sell 2,000 of the tickets priced at $40 per individual and $35 per group. But so far only some 100 had been purchased.
"The response was not that great,'' Mr. DeMello said. "Maybe too many things were going on (around that time).'' He said he hoped to reschedule the concert -- which was to be held at the BAA field -- for a weekend in either September or October.

Abdullah Furqan, of Palmetto Road, pleaded guilty on Monday to having a passenger on his bike -- on July 18 on Parsons Road, Pembroke -- who was not wearing a helmet.
But he denied driving while impaired and that he had more then 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
Furqan told the court the passenger on his cycle was an old lady who was being attacked by three youths.
He said he was trying to take her out of a dangerous area when he was stopped by the Police.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis had initially fined Furqan $75 for the offence, but after hearing Furqan's explanation he reduced it to $50.
Mr. Francis granted Furqan $500 bail and ordered him to return to court on September 29 when he will be tried for the other two offences.
MAN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT CTS Man accused of sexual assault A Jamaican national appeared in Magistrates' Court on Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
The 48-year-old man, who resides on St. John's Road in Pembroke and has lived in Bermuda for more than 20 years, was not required to enter a plea.
He will be tried in the Supreme Court.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis released the man on $5,000 bail with a like surety and ordered him to report to Hamilton Police Station on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 7 and 9 p.m.
He also ordered him to surrender his travel documents and to stay away from the complainant.
The man will return to court on August 7 for mention.
WHITNEY STUDENT ADMITS ASSAULT CTS Whitney student admits assault A 17-year-old Whitney Institute student yesterday admitted that he assaulted another student at the school.
Antonio Chow, of Spring Hill Road, Warwick, admitted in Magistrates' Court that on January 16 he pushed and punched another student at the school.
Crown Counsel Miss Nita Grewal told the court the incident occurred on January 16.
After the victim ran away from Chow, she said, he went to Hamilton Police Station and filed a complaint.
Later that day, Chow also visited the Police Station and admitted that he had fought with the boy.
He said a few months earlier the boy had stuck his middle finger up at him, causing friction between them for a long time before they came to blows.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis gave Chow a six-month conditional discharge.
