Team triathletes to compete tomorrow
Some of the Island's top athletes will be combining their skills for the annual 'three-man' Bank of Bermuda Foundation Triathlon.
A total of 76 teams, each featuring three members, will descend on Albouy's Point for a 9.30 a.m. start tomorrow.
Among the favourites will be 2006 Trunk Island Swim winner John Legge, top cyclist and tri-athlete Kent Richardson, and Evan Naude, who was fifth in May 24.
Naude's brother Riaan has teamed up with Bermuda's 2006 cycling time-trial champion Garth Thomson and veteran swimmer Mike Cash.
Meanwhile cross-country king Jay Donawa will join simmer Nick Strong and this year's time-trial winner Wayne Scott.
Bermuda Triathlon Association president Steve Petty believes Legge-Richardson-Evan Naude will be particularly tough the beat.
Among the female favourites will be young simmer Morgan Hopkins, Dee McMullen on the bike and Kim McMullen as the runner.
