Man killed in road crash

Accident: A police officer at the scene of the fatal road accident in Hamilton on Saturday
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the fatal crash that resulted in Winston Jones’s death.
The two-motorcycle collision occurred at around 12.30pm on Saturday at the junction of Court Street and Reid Street in the City of Hamilton.
At last check the other rider involved, a 25 year-old Paget man, was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Mr Jones’s 14-year-old son, who was the pillion passenger on his father’s bike, was also injured in the collision. However he was treated at the hospital and later discharged.
