Pembroke woman appears on crack, cocaine charges

of crack and powdered cocaine into Bermuda was not required to enter a plea when she appeared in Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Erin Lois Renee Osmond of Friswell's Hill, was charged with importing 458 grams of 78 percent pure crack cocaine worth $162,000 on November 28 in St.

George's.

She was also charged with possessing 60.6 grams of 73 percent pure cocaine valued at $16,750.

Osmond is also alleged to have possessed cannabis and drug equipment.

Crown counsel Leighton Rochestor did not oppose bail although he asked that reporting conditions be imposed.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis set bail at $10,000 with one surety and ordered Osmond to surrender her travel documents and report to the Hamilton Police Station twice a week.

She will be back in court for mention on January 6 for mention.

Osmond was represented by lawyer Richard Hector who was holding for Mark Pettingill.
