The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rose 15.46 points to 2,259.41 as Bank of Bermuda gained ground yesterday.

The bank's shares gained 50 cents to close at $31.50 on volume of 347 shares.

Total volume for the day was 3,047 shares worth $98,430.50.
