The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index fell 7.85 points or 0.30 percent yesterday to close at 2,624.40. A total of 19,805 shares worth $716,602.50 were traded.

The Bank of Bermuda slipped 25 cents or 0.6 percent to close at $44 on volume of 5,800 shares.

The Bank of Butterfield was the only other issue to be traded for the day, and remained unchanged at $33 despite 14,005 shares changing hands.
