The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 6.97 points yesterday to close at 4,393.39.

On a light day of trading Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 50 cents to close at $7.75 as investors traded in 222 shares and BF&M fell 25 cents to close at $18.25 on volume of 100 shares.

While no other issues changed price Butterfield Bank traded in 3,674 shares to remain unchanged at $56.50

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $211,126.50 and the overall volume of shares was 3,996.
