Cabbie and passengers escaoe seruiys injury in crash
after his cab ploughed into a wall off Middle Road, Devonshire.
The cabbie is believed to have lost control after suffering a blackout.
He was travelling west, near the junction with Tribe Road No.1, when the accident occurred at around 11.05 a.m. on Saturday.
A Police spokeswoman said neither the driver nor the male passenger, who suffered a bump to his head, needed hospital treatment.
A second passenger escaped uninjured.
Meanwhile, Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic accident which occurred last Thursday morning at around 7.45 on Palmetto Road in Devonshire.
A 61-year-old Devonshire man sustained serious leg injuries when his Honda motorcycle collided with a Honda Civic car near the junction with Roberts Avenue.
Later that afternoon, the man underwent surgery on his badly injured left leg.
The 73-year-old Pembroke woman who was driving the car was not injured. Any person who might have seen the accident is asked to contact Pc. Adrian Cook at the Police Traffic Department: 299-4396.
