But the group of men said they had chased the man after he had allegedly robbed another man at the nightclub. They had just caught him and were trying to retrieve the money.
Everyone "was invited back to Hamilton Police Station'', and the alleged victim was contacted and confirmed that some money had been stolen from him and the alleged thief was kept in custody.
