Devonshire Industries shares slump

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday moved up 6.42 points to close at 2,467.52.
Devonshire Industries - the parent company of Bermuda Paint - dominated trading on the BSX yesterday with 13,000 shares changing hands while the Company's stock price plummeted $4.45 to finish at $6.55.
In the utilities sector, Belco also saw significant trading with 10,000 shares moving and the value of the company's stock dipping 50 cents to close at $34.
Meanwhile, the Bank of N.T. Butterfield saw trading of 4,800 shares while the bank's stock gained 50 cents to finish at $34.50.
