Police attended a single vehicle accident where a car was wrecked after it flipped over and struck a tree.

Around 3.30 a.m. on Saturday, Police attended the collision on North Shore Road, in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with East Point Lane.

It appears that a car was travelling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 29-year-old Hamilton Parish man, lost control.

As a result the car overturned and hit a tree. The driver was uninjured but the car was extensively damaged.
