FORMERphotographer Meredith Andrews has been selected to shoot a Tourism campaign.
Ms Andrews was chosen by the Ministry of Tourism along with overseas advertising agency GlobalHue from a shortlist of 12 island photographers.
The US agency had initially planned to use a foreign photographer to take images for the Beach and Sizzle Season campaign.
But after the reported that local photographers were angered by the plan, Tourism Minister Ewart Brown stepped in to ensure a Bermudian cameraman would be hired for the on-island shoot.
A Government spokesman yesterday confirmed that the ?acclaimed? photographer had already been hard at work on the campaign, which is expected to wrap up today.
