Police probe crash on pedestrian crossing
A teenaged motorcyclist crashed into a woman on a pedestrian crossing, causing injuries to her face, wrist and knee.
The incident took place at 8.45 a.m. Thursday, on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Khyber Pass.
Both the pedestrian, a 30-year-old from Warwick, and the teenager required treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The 17-year-old Hamilton Parish woman sustained cuts to her right arm and leg.
A Police spokesperson said inquiries into the incident are underway.
Jewellery stolen in Devonshire burglary
Burglars stole a quantity of jewellery from a house in Devonshire.
The break in took place at a property in Boundary Terrace on Thursday. Police are warning the public to be vigilant and to ensure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended.
