Today at Garrison Field in St. George's (3.15), the first All-Star match between past players of St. George's and Somerset will take place. Proceeds from the match will benefit the youth programmes at both clubs.

Tomorrow at Somerset at 12.15 the Commercial teams of Somerset and North Village -- The Extros and Rams -- will play a benefit trophy match prior to the First Division encounter between the same teams.

Dandy Town's old boys from the 1970s are asked to attend practice sessions on Mondy and Wednesday in preparation of their upcoming match against Boulevard's former players.

BASEBALL BAS The U.S. Naval Air Station's final Youth Athletic Organisation Baseball season starts today at the McChesney field at the main gate with base Commanding Officer Capt. Tim Bryan throwing out the first pitch at 9a.m.

There will be a total of 24 teams participating in the three age divisions involving 200 youngsters off base and 90 on base. The age groups are five to seven in the T-Ball league, eight to 10 in the Rookie league and 11-13 in the Little league.

The leagues will be supervised by 56 coaches, 20 umpires and several volunteer workers.

Every Saturday there will be 11 games played , starting at 9a.m. League play will conclude late in May. Anyone wishing further information can contact Lt.

SNOOKER SNO Queens Club lifted the Lapine Cup when they defeated St. George's Dinghy and Sports Club 3-2 on Thursday night.

Individual winners for Queens were Stephen Roberts, Paula Madeiros and Ed Gumbs. Honky Burrows and Bill Peniston snatched one win apiece for the losers.
