A 57-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with sexually assaulting two men.

The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces ten counts of sexual assault on a 19-year-old man between January and June last year.

He is also accused of sexually assaulting a 45-year-old man between January 2008 and June 2009.

The defendant denied all charges at Magistrates' Court yesterday. Both cases were adjourned for trial.

In the matter of the 19-year-old complainant, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set a trial date of June 1 and granted the defendant bail at $10,000.

The trial for an alleged sexual assault on the 45-year-old will take place on May 11. Mr. Warner set bail at $5,000.
