Butterfield shares up 1.4%

Shares of Butterfield Bank improved 50 cents, or 1.4 per cent, to $37 after 700 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up 81 cents, or 2.11 per cent, at $39.16.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 26.82 points, or 1.07 per cent, at 2,523.46, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 25.27 points, or 1.45 per cent, at 1,772.53.
