Man bites man's hand

Amon Brown, 46, of Olive Land, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to assaulting a 27-year-old man on May 5.
Crown Counsel Charmaine Outerbridge Smith said the complainant's grandmother's car was parked in Brown's drive way at around 7.15 p.m.
As the two were walking to the car, Brown came toward them and began shouting at the grandmother about where the car was parked.
The complainant told him to stop and Brown waved a claw hammer at him.
Brown then put the complainant in a head lock and bit his hand causing a wound which required four sutures.
Yesterday defence lawyer Tyrone Chin said Brown had asked the pair not to park the car in the drive way on a previous occasion.
And he said that there was a "degree of provocation''.
"The complainant had to be held back by the grandmother because he was trying to attack Brown,'' Chin said. "That's when the headlock occurred.'' TCD DEADLINE LOOMS TRA GVT TCD deadline looms The Transport Control Department sent out a renewal reminder for light truck permit-holders.
