robbery and assault to do bodily harm.

Philip D. Doars, Jr. 22, of Tamarind Vale, Warwick, and Damon Roy Burgess, 18, of St. John's Road, Pembroke were not required to enter a plea.

Doars was also accused of possessing of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Sgt. Earl Kirby, prosecuting, said both men accosted Gareth Gauntlett in Pembroke earlier this month as he was leaving a bank.

Both men allegedly held Gauntlett and it was claimed that Doars held a knife to his neck and robbed him of $300.

In a struggle Gauntlett sustained injuries to his mouth and neck, and bruises to his face.

Crown Counsel Ms. Sharon Kenny claimed the money was not recovered, but had been used to purchase heroin and cannabis.

Doars is represented by lawyer Mr. Charles Vaucrosson.

Acting Senior Magistrate, the Wor. Mr. John Judge, set the matter down for mention on September 13 and set bail at $2,000 with a like surety.

He also imposed a 10 p.m. curfew on both men.
