A gale warning has been issued tonight by the Bermuda Weather Service.

A spokeswoman said: “The BWS advised this evening that the island will experience windy weather conditions later tonight.

“The BWS has issued a Gale Warning for late tonight and notes that there's also the potential for storm force gusts after midnight. A thunderstorm advisory has also been issued.

“Motorists should exercise care and caution if they are on the roads tonight. The community can stay abreast of the severe weather developments by visiting www.weather.bm.”
