the first round of the FA Cup when yesterday's draw pitted them against First Division teams.

The eight matches on December 11 feature some interesting match-ups, including Robin Hood against St. George's and Forties against Devonshire Colts.

Another team from the Commercial Division, Island Rangers, also have First Division opponents waiting for them -- if they can get past Second Division side Port Royal in tonight's re-scheduled match at Somerset (7 p.m.).

Robin Hood, who surprised Somerset Eagles 4-1 on Sunday in one of the upsets in the preliminary round, will have the intentions of producing another giant-killing act when they travel to Wellington Oval to take on St. George's Colts while Forties are at home at White Hill to Devonshire Colts after their 5-1 thrashing of Exiles on Sunday.

After getting past Exiles, Forties were hoping for another team from the lower divisions.

"Obviously we would have preferred a Second Division team but we have nothing to lose, everybody is expecting them to win,'' said club president and defender Derek Patience yesterday.

Now Forties will spend the coming weeks preparing for Colts. "I've been to a few First Division games already but I haven't seen Colts,'' said Patience who said his team had played them in a pre-season friendly. Forties know Colts will be a tough team to beat.

"It makes it more difficult to advance but if you want to advance you've got to beat the better teams anyway.'' Certainly the glamour ties among the last 16 teams will be the clash at St.

David's between First Division teams Boulevard and Dandy Town, which follows the match between St. David's and cup holders Vasco. Two seasons ago St.

David's beat Vasco 1-0 in the first round of the FA Cup.

Another all-First Division clash will take place at PHC Stadium where the Zebras entertain improving BAA. Other matches see First Division leaders Somerset at home to Prospect in the second match of a double-header while struggling First Division team Devonshire Cougars host Social Club of the Second Division.

A year ago Cougars produced a major surprise when, as Second Division leaders, they stopped First Division team Southampton Rangers 3-1 in the first round. A win over Social Club would be most welcome for a team that is still seeking its first win in the First Division.

Shawn Goater and Kyle Lightbourne both found the net for their English clubs in FA Cup action on Saturday. Lightbourne scored Walsall's first in the 34th minute as they beat Rochdale 3-0 while Goater's second goal of the game seven minutes from the end earned Rotherham a 3-3 away draw against York.

Goater opened the Rotherham account with a goal in the 14th minute after York had taken an early lead.
