Trial adjourned

The trial of Troy Eugene Symonds, who is accused of grievous bodily harm against his ex-wife, was yesterday adjourned at Magistrates? Court.

The chief executive officer of Fort Knox Bermuda Ltd denies the offence, which is alleged to have happened on May 8, 2004, after . Symonds found his son at his ex-wife Marion Dyer?s home in Harvest Lane, off Radnor Road, Hamilton Parish.

The prosecution claims the 43 year old put his hands around her neck and squeezed and later flung her to the ground, held her against his car and threatened he could kill her.

After legal arguments yesterday, Senior Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo adjourned the case and will give his verdict on Tuesday, January 31.
