Human resources focus for BSBDC seminar this month

Hiring post recession, attracting the best employee for your small business and maximising staff productivity will be just some of the topics up for debate at the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation's (BSBDC) seminar on human resources later this month.

The meeting, which is entitled 'Human Resource Matters', will be held at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Wednesday January 27 between 8 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.

Among the main talking points will be the Employment Act and mandatory requirements for employers and employees, the services offered by the Department of Labour & Training, and downsizing versus hiring freezes.

Guest speakers will include Aderonnke Bademosi-Wilson and Olu Badermosi of The Stafford Group, Doug Soares of Expertise and Glenn Lake of the Department of Labour & Training.

Entry costs $50 per person, but the first 50 people to register get in for free.
