Devonshire shares gain 11.1% on BSX

Shares of Devonshire Industries Ltd soared 11.1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
Devonshire, owner of the Bermuda Paint Company, gained 25 cents to close on $2.50, a new 52-week high, as 2,300 shares changed hands.
Devonshire was the lone stock to trade, as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 0.12 of a point to close on 2,593.24.
For the week, the index edged 0.06 per cent lower.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares climbed $1.26, or 3.34 per cent, to close on $38.96. The bank last traded on the BSX at $38.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 17.06 points, or 0.95 per cent on Friday.
